Are you looking for a reputable workshop to delete EGR in your vehicle? Read further to know how we do it and what else is available.
The process of deleting EGR can be described as follows:
You leave your vehicle with us:
EGR Delete Process
We “read” your vehicle ECU. We download your original ECU tuning file.
We make all the necessary changes to the EGR mapping in your original file.
The next day we install the updated file back to your vehicle ECU and you are advised to pick up your car. Now with your EGR being deleted the engine in your vehicle can breathe free with clean air and most importantly not build any residue to block the EGR & intake manifold on your vehicle.
As you can see the “EGR Delete” is the process we follow to disengage your vehicle exhaust gas recirculation system. All changes are made electronically only. In other words – your vehicle keeps all the parts and aggregates yet due to the changes in ECU mapping parameters the vehicle EGR won’t engage anymore.
We also offer the following services
Mechanical Intake Manifold Clean – This is the service when our mechanics remove your vehicle intake manifold for cleaning. Pros- The manifold of your vehicle is going to be as clean as it was when your car was brand new(almost). Cons: time-consuming – meaning not as affordable as “chemical intake manifold clean. Combine with EGR Delete to ensure your vehicle won’t be sluggish.
Chemical Intake manifold cleaning. In order for us to chemically clean the intake of your vehicle we connect our special device for chemical intake cleaning. The device is designed to release cleaning chemicals into the manifold while the vehicle is running. It’s recommended to do a chemical clean every 25,000 KM to ensure that the intake manifold remains clean. Alternatively, Delete EGR after a chemical clean to forget about the problem.
Get in touch with us and call us if you have any questions about why would we recommend EDR Delete.
